Bob Hiss has been an Investment Advisor Representative with Hiss Sherman Wealth Management Group since 2003 and with CenterPointe Wealth Management since 2015.  Before branching out on his own as an independent financial advisor Bob believes his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Economics and partnership working on a family owned and operated dairy and grain farm in Great Bend helped to establish his strong work ethic and commitment to personal business. 

In 1986 Bob decided to take a risk and pursue his passion for investment planning and become a Financial Advisor for Waddell & Reed. Long hours and strong work ethic paid off promoting Bob to Division Manager where he managed 14 offices in western and central Kansas along with 49 financial advisors.

Although an impressive resume, Bob was still not satisfied with the limitations a corporate firm was providing for his clients. Taking another risk, Bob broke away from Waddell & Reed, and with a partner became independent starting Hiss ♦ Sherman Wealth Management Group.  In 2015 he grew the business again by adding CenterPointe Wealth Management to the firm.

Hard work, commitment, and communication are what sets Bob apart for his clients. He believes each client should experience financial confidence while still continuing to build wealth using a wide array of resources.

With Bob’s extensive experience and strong industry intuition he has found a niche working with multi-generational wealth families.

Community and volunteering are an important part of Bob’s life, including being on Wheatland Electric Board and continues to be very active in the leadership of his church.

Bob is happily married to his lovely wife Patsy and has two sons, Matt and Mason. Away from business Bob enjoys reading, attending football games, sporting clays, flying his plane, and spending time with family.
